Elan Valley Trail

The Elan Valley Trail is a scenic walking and cycling route in the Elan Valley of Wales. The trail follows the course of the River Elan, taking in a variety of landscapes and passing by a number of historical sites. The trail is 26 miles (42 km) long and can be completed in a day, although it can be broken up into shorter sections. Along the way, visitors can see views of the Elan Valley Reservoirs and the surrounding countryside. There are also a number of historic buildings to explore, including the Elan Valley Hotel, the Elan Valley Dams and the Elan Valley Railway. The Elan Valley Trail provides a great way to explore the natural beauty of the Elan Valley, whilst also providing an insight into its history and culture.
