Bryn Titli circular

This route starts at the Wood House Farm, passing through the village of Pant Y Dwr, and heading off up the beautiful Tawelan valley. It then climbs to high moorland and the Bryn Titli wind farm. From there it crosses high pasture land before descending to the Marteg valley near the Gilfach Nature Reserve. There is also an alternative route which will take you down to the A470 near Dernol where it is possible to join the Wye Valley Walk

Suitable for walkers. If taking the alternative to the A470 could also be ridden on horseback.

IMPORTANT NOTE. The moorland section approaching the turbines consists of marsh, boggy areas and tussocky heather. You should be properly equipped as crossing this can be tricky, especially in wet conditions, or on horseback. In poor weather a map and compass and the ability to use them is essential. You should always be aware of the risk and serious consequences of getting lost.
